The event will be held at Hill Country Barbecue on 7th and D, just a few blocks from the National Mall. The topic of this meetup is “Enterprise Architecture for the AI Era” and will include a brief architecture overview followed by a panel discussion about how organizations can develop an IT strategy to fully exploit artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning.
According to a McKinsey report published in July 2018, although “45 percent of executives who have yet to invest in AI fear falling behind competitively,” only approximately 10 percent of companies have tried to diffuse AI across the enterprise. McKinsey observes that the success of AI adoption is largely dependent on an organization’s digital base: “AI adopters can’t flourish without a solid base of core and advanced digital technologies.” Underpinning this digital base and enabling companies to become AI-ready is a strategically-planned infrastructure that provides the efficiency and scalability required for AI applications and workloads.
